Inspiration Blinds warrants that the products supplied and installed by Inspiration Blinds will be free from all defects due to faulty design, materials or workmanship for a period of 5 years.The Warranty is provided to the original purchaser only and only applies to the custom made products in the original windows for which the product was ordered. During the first year of warranty, Inspiration Blinds agrees to repair, replace any defective goods inclusive of installation services. The Subsequent 4 years Inspiration Blinds agrees to repair or replace any defective goods provided the customer pays a standard call out fee.

 

Warranty

 Roller Blinds

 The Warranty applies to the following Goods:

1. Roller Blinds

2. Motorised Blinds;

3. Awnings;

4. Dual Roller Blinds;

The Warranty will NOT cover

​

1. marks or imperfections in, holes or runs in, or fraying of the material which occurs more than 30 days after installation;

2. products effected due to weather conditions;

3. bagging (or ‘V’ing) of material where material is over 2 metres in width;

4. lines, creases or waves. ( leave product in down or closed position for up to 3 months )

5. imperfections that are not visible to the naked eye from a distance of 1.5 metres;

6. uneven rolling of linked blinds;

7. blinds/products installed into plaster or other non-standard structures. Non-standard refers to any structures other than timber or aluminium frames and/or timber architraves. we take no responsibility for the strength of any surface we fix into.

8. gaps between blind fabric and window frame or architrave (up to 20mm) for infit(inside fit) for the following blinds, roller/holland blinds, vertical blinds, venetian blinds, twin blinds, panel blinds, roman blinds, honeycomb/cellular blinds. 

9. variation in speed of motorised blinds

 3. Plantation shutters

​

The Warranty applies to the following Goods:

​

1. (PVC) Plantation Shutters;

2. (timber) Plantation Shutters; and

3. Aluminium Plantation Shutters.

4. Designer Shutters

 

 The Warranty will cover:

​

1. for five years, fading or peeling which has occurred consistently across the inside and outside of panels and the framing;

2. for five years, warping, bowing or twisting of the panels and/or framing due to the materials, manufacturing or installation; and

3. for one year, defects in parts and mechanisms (including screws, hinges and control bars) and labour; and

4. if noticed on or within seven days of installation, broken blades, cracks in frames or panels, paint or dint blemishes.

5. for one year, budget pvc plantation shutters.

 

 The Warranty will NOT cover:

​

1. inconsistent fading or peeling (for example, only on the outside of the shutters);

2. Warping, bowing or twisting of the panels and/or framing caused by environmental issues         and/or mistreatment;

3. imperfections that are not visible to the naked eye from a distance of 1.5 metres;

4. broken blades, cracks in frames or panels, paint or dint blemishes noticed or occurring more than seven days after installation; or

5. shutters that come away from the wall due to installation with architraves.
